At Townshend Agricultural Contracting we specialise in stirring, transporting and applying dairy farm effluent. We operate a high capacity slurry/effluent spreading business with a fleet of slurry tankers.
Running 2 x 30,000L tankers, a 28,000L tanker, and a 20,000L tanker, along with pond stirrers and a muck spreader. The tankers are equipped with dribble bars to get that slurry to the ground to reduce nitrogen loss to the atmosphere, as well as reducing the grazing delay from 1 month to 10 days.
With dairy effluent being a natural source of rich nutrients, applying that slurry onto paddocks is a great way to utilise those nutrients as well as being able to reduce the amount of capital fertiliser required for that year.
We are available to clean out saucers, Klip tanks, lined and unlined effluent ponds, dairy homes and any solids that require spreading.
Talk to Jodan or the team for an example of the dairy effluent test results and what your pond could have stored away. We are happy to discuss any options along with offering a per m3 or hourly rate that suits you. All jobs come with proof of placement for accurate recording where slurry is placed.
